Under a Management Agreement with the Eurobodalla Shire Council, MACS now manages the Narooma Visitor Centre on behalf of the Narooma community.
MACS operates a shop/gallery at the Visitor Centre, displaying a range of crafted items reflecting the area we live in, including artwork and crafted items by local artists.
(In September 2016 Narooma was identified by discountmyflights.com.au as one of the Top 50 Small Towns in Australia, and was awarded the Top 50 Badge shown on our website).
MACS now offers “Friends of the VIC” membership! if you love Narooma and its surrounds, and enjoy interacting with people why not consider contributing and supporting the Visitor Information Centre (VIC). Find out more on the Volunteering at the Visitor Information Centre page.
Narooma Visitors Information Centre – Finalist in 2017 Eurobodalla Business Awards
The Narooma Visitors Information Centre (VIC) has recently been confirmed as a Finalist in the “Start Up Super Star” category of the 2017 Eurobodalla Business Awards. MACS committee would sincerely like to thank the many volunteers and helpers for their hard work and dedication at the VIC, which has led to this nomination. It’s been a great team effort in ‘learning the ropes’ and continuing the work of the Information Centre, and in establishing the Art Gallery and Souvenir Gift Shop.
Winners of the various categories, and of the People’s Choice Awards, will be announced at a Gala Dinner on Saturday 12 August 2017. For information about the night and how to buy tickets, you can visit www.eurobodallabusinessawards.com.au
